Pros

The headline says it all. You could create a sitcom about this hilariously unethical company. Communication is non-existent because the leadership team is insecure and always looking out for themselves. One Director was told by a prospect that she felt like she was at a rental car counter because of his desperate sales tactics....which we are forced to emulate....or else. Yes, "or else" should be our company slogan. That is leadership and legal's approach to employees and customers. The CEO feels entitled to customers' money and to employees' time. Glad to have survived the recent layoffs....quiet quitting is part of the alternative culture here.

Cons

One time at Zoominfo camp...they removed the SDR team from our product and then doubled our sales quotas while reducing our commission rate. Stalkers love to use our data and we don't really try to honor data removal requests.

Hi, thanks for taking a moment to share your thoughts about working here. Your feedback concerns me. We have a clear code of business ethics that every employee signs before they start work with us, and we expect all employees to abide by it, including and especially our leadership. Any perceived unethical business practices should immediately be reported to HR or anonymously on our whistleblower hotline. Please speak up if you see something wrong! One point of clarification I would like to make, though, because it’s incredibly important to us – we have a turnaround time of less than 48 hours for requests to remove data from our platform and currently our backlog stands at zero. Our Compliance team did a fantastic job smoothing out this process in Q4. Also, as a point of fact, we have never in the history of the company doubled quotas. If your ZoomInfo experience is not living up to your expectations, and you’re not feeling supported, I want to work with you to make it right. I want to see all my AEs thriving and advancing. My door is open if you’d like to have a conversation. – Steve Waters, ZoomInfo Vice President of Sales

Pros

Salary is competitive with market

Cons

I cannot recommend this as a healthy work environment. There is little to no work life balance. Expect to work from 7am to 6pm every day. Expect to work weekends and holidays. Expect burnt out employees who are too afraid to speak up for fear of reprimand. Expect leadership that operates as stressed out task masters rather than creating a collective vision that employees feel a part of. I’ve worked for well-known tech companies for years and have never experienced anything like this place. At other workplaces, even if we had to work till midnight to meet an EOM deadline we all were working as a team, towards a bigger vision that leadership set. Better still, there was always balance to the “tough times” and leaders who knew how to be human and actually lead. None of that exists here. The pay is competitive with market, but it’ll likely cost you your health and definitely your time. Quitting was the best decision I made.

Thank you for your feedback. At ZoomInfo we have a clear set of Strategic Objectives for the year that are shared at every All Hands meeting and made easily available for employees to reference. Our Objectives direct our work and are the vision we all work towards. We also have hold tightly to our Company Values to steer our behaviors and how we interact with each other and our customers. We regret that you did not experience the ZoomInfo vision or values during our time with us. We do appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Toxic workplace in MM

Pros

Great compensation - both base and commission Market leader for product Upward mobility

Cons

Unfortunately in the last 90 days, leadership has become laser focused on certain activity goals, and mid level management has turned this into new policies that are not conducive to a positive, great place to work. Our unlimited PTO policy has not been changed, but HR has told our managers that individuals can not take more than 20 days of PTO (including sick time). Not only do they not have to pay you out on accrued sick time, now they are limiting the time off (and this doesn’t include blackout dates for EOQ and the holiday season). Not sure why we have unlimited PTO, but then are getting rejected on requests bc we “took too many days”. I would understand if you were on a performance plan or close, not if you are considered a top performer. There has always been some level of micro-management, but the latest set of initiatives and policies feel as though they are watching your every move. It does not feel like there is any level of trust, even with high performers who are at the top of the leaderboards and should have earned the trust. Many of us are unhappy, and looking for new roles, which is truly unfortunate because when there is not as much micro-management, this truly is a great place to work. I hope my review will force some action from management to take a look at the micro management happening, making mid market R&G a toxic place to work.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear that you've found aspects of your experience at ZoomInfo, such as compensation and opportunities for advancement, to be positive. However, we're concerned to learn about your experience with recent changes and the impact they've had on your perception of our workplace culture. In terms of our PTO policy, it covers Flexible Time Off (FTO), Paid Time-Off (PTO), Paid Sick Leave. You should be giving adequate advance notice to take FTO in accordance to our guidelines. Accrued paid sick leave in excess of 40 hours will not roll over into the next calendar year and unused paid sick time will not be paid out at the end of employment with the company which is the standard. Additionally, Great things are happening at ZI! It’s been an incredible journey since we went public in 2020, in the middle of a pandemic. And as you know. in about a month, we are launching a new AI-powered GTM game changer, ZoomInfo Copilot, that will make every seller the best seller. Our teams are laser-focused on first and foremost delivering a great product and then making sure that our Go-to-Market teams are armed with the right talk tracks, the right decks, the right accounts, and the right pricing and packaging to really accelerate our growth rates. Everyone is a part of this project - no matter what role you are in - and this is the future for us. Thank you again. Your input is invaluable as we work towards creating a better experience for all our employees.
