Good products, revenue stream is decent. However, they are not making their projections.
Cons
Over the past five years Zimmer Dental has significantly lost market share because of poor management and late-to-market technologies. The Dental business as a whole has become a commodity. They have slid to the 5th or 6th largest player while at one time they used to be second. The competition introduced CAD/cam technology several years ago. Zimmer is struggling to get this off the ground. They outsource their regenerative medicine products which have faced safety recall issues, launch delays and backorder problems. Financial decisions are made from the parent company out of Warsaw Indiana which means the dental division does not have the ability to hire and back fill open positions. They work on limited budgets and resources. They are trying to reorganize but at present it appears to be imploding.
