Anything to save money to make the EPS look good on an earnings report will be done even if it's not in the best interest of current employees from manufacturing to corporate such as random layoffs with little notice regardless of tenure.

When I first started the CEO really took care of the employees, but our newest CEO only cares about his public profile and travelling. After layoffs this last year, no one cares. HR doesn't exist.
