Pros

It is good for students who need part-time job, as the pay is relatively good

Cons

I worked in Zara in Nottingham for couple of years, part-time while studying. The company does not care for their employees who are often working in very bad conditions, where cold temperatures were sometimes unbearable and the staff was not allowed to wear jumpers. Managers are very uneducated and do not receive any managerial training. Most of the time, they are young people without any education, who worked there since they were 16 and would not be able to retain in any other job. They then missuse their power and put the rest of the staff down. Some of the managers' comments affected not only me but also my other collegues. Managers aim to manipulate the staff by making them feel that they would not be able to find a better job, so people end up working there for years, loosing their confidence.

Pros

The job comes with a decent pay for part-time workers that will have to pay their medical benefits out of their own pockets $11 an hour. The job is challenging and there will always be work to do. I've only been working for Zara for 3days and the ENTIRE team is moving fast-paced and seem to be very motivated and ready for success! It is ALOT of work.

Cons

Trying feels like a gang initiation! In my particular department my superior's attitude is very condescending, not nice or approachable. She is very different from the happy, approachable corporate employees that hired me on the spot. It's day #3 and she is already finding faults in the new team members, and giving pass or fail test. I think it's discouraging to the brand overall. I'm taken back, that we getting off on the wrong foot. The holidays will be here soon...

Pros

Great work environment. I enjoyed working with my employees, management was chill, and it was awesome being surround by trendy clothes. Starting salary was pretty decent for my first job ever and getting global commission wasn't too shabby.

Cons

Dealing with customers and the employee discount was pretty low.
