Pros

Made friends Hour lunch break Two 15 min breaks (only if you remember to take it)

Cons

DO NOT TAKE A CASUAL POSITION AT ZARA!!!!!! They will use you for a few weeks then never roster you on again. Managers stand on the floor and talk about other staff behind their backs Visual commercials are all some sort of hierarchy Favouritism and cliques Managers pick and chose who they want to train to progress instead of an even playing field Use the worst excuses to fire people Management doesn't care about staff personal lives Applying for annual leave even for one day is an impossible process Super fast staff turnover Expect you do live breathe and bleed ZARA Must be a robot Must speed walk around the entire store for 9 hours a day. You work so much harder than you're paid for

Pros

Discount on top of sale prices Commission

Cons

Very rude and mean head cashiers and managers who behave unprofessional towards new staff. Often condescending too. A lot of the time I had to stay in work longer when closing, sometimes even up to an hour. No proper till/overall training before starting the job. No respect. Only 20 min breaks if you work 30h per week. ZARA is rich and can afford to pay more. Bad quality uniform. Not enough staff.
