Pros

The employee discount is 25% plus a $100 gift card bonus for the holidays. And there is a slight opportunity for advancement.

Cons

You're required to wear a uniform with terrible quality. The company structure and system is very unorganized. They lost one of my paychecks once, the direct deposit takes a little over a month to take effect and there is no guarantee that the paychecks will come in on time. I don't know about other locations but my location never has full coverage, so everything is a mess and we are all overwhelmed. Scheduling is unreasonable. I was once scheduled to close 2-11 and then work shipment 4-1... Bottom line; it's extremely unorganized and they aren't on top of things. No one will address your issues unless it becomes a problem for them too, and even then it's a complete mess. Retail sucks, but this is hell.

Pros

The pay is decent Employee discount Flexible hours when necessary

Cons

Lazy co-workers who substantially take their time on assigned tasks resulting in low productivity Some disrespectful managers and team supervisors No sense of teamwork Rarely social co-workers, most employees here are grumpy, uptight...this is quite contagious and significantly brings down the entire team's morale. Seriously, how did these Debbie Downers get hired??? It's understandable that not many enjoy their job but please don't infect everyone with your moodiness. Stay positive. No room for growth and ideas are easily dismissed

Pros

pay was good for store set up.. probably blew the budget there

Cons

DO NOT BE A CASUAL! Was hired as a casual just before the store has opened. Requested 1 week notice period that i owed to my pervious job that was completely ignored. Manger demands your availability then completely ignores that too. Casuals had to fill out annual leave forms to get a day off- was easier to call in sick. Management treated casuals horribly and used us to do all the hard labour of setting up the store. Set up the store for 2 weeks, worked in the actual store 3 times and got all my hours cut and given an pathetic excuse of budgeting cuts. If you can't afford it why hire some many people? Manager eventually stopped sending me the roster, they would give me a shift or 2 then about an hour before i meant to start they will either phone or email you to cancel. Communication with management was always very passive aggressive as though i was wasting their time talking to them but when boxing day rolled around i was treated like the greatest employee ever until i arrived for work where i received condescending comments from management and full timers about not being able to remember how to do everything because i hadn't work there in a month and a half. Don't bother, the whole company is filled with snobby catty people who think that they are so important to the rest of the world.
