Pros

-opportunity to go to china for training from 1 to 3 weeks

Cons

-very bad work environment: no air conditionning, kitchen inside the office , no fixed phone lines in the office -no payment for overtime , no compensation leave in most cases -company has no intention to follow the labour laws -travel fees to other cities :sometimes not paid at all for some cities, sometimes only train fee is paid after a very long procedure and after 2 to 3 months time -local staff not treated the same as foreign staff -no private health insurance which most of the companies have and which has a good reimbursement rate -no trainings for some departments -sometimes having a bad relationship with manager could affect your career even if you have great results that save the companies billions of losses or earn billions for the company -very bad communication between foreign managers and local staff -change of managers very regularly which makes local staff teach each manager all the work everytime and adapt everytime to new methods and it delays progress of any old projects of improvement -less and less benefits every year -managers call you during vacation, in the evening or weekend and most of the time it is not an emergency -foreigners have very bad language skills which make communication very hard -after getting 1 to 3 weeks training in china, employees sign an agreement to stay with zte for 1 to 2 years -no authority in making decisions -no respect for confidentiality(work in open space) -each person does many jobs: manager without manager status, teacher to his manager, teacher to himself because there is no training, translator, secretary, delivery guy in addition to all the regular tasks of the job in his department
