Pros

- salary (but given the hours and stress level, I would say the salary is actually low...) - the ability to frequently work from home but after working there, I would say there are NO PROS that would ever make it worth it

Cons

- poor organization structure (working on multiple projects make it very easy for principals to take advantage of your time...basically make you into a work horse) - poor work output (I was embarrassed by the quality of work we produced for clients and how it was presented) - minimal knowledge base (while the company might be good at pharma sales forces analysis they have little knowledge and skills elsewhere) - disturbing company culture (I watched multiple principals just scream at associates and give no clear direction) - if you think and have original ideas and any form of creative skills, they will try to crush it out of you. all they want is people to do work, they way it has always been done.

Pros

A lot of client facing experience and accelerates your career, particularly if you're looking to do an MBA down the line

Cons

- Poor oversight by management on new college grads, effectively leaving them in the charge of other associates who have no management experience or training. (In my case, reviews for junior associates are essentially written by the senior associate, using the Manager's name) Because of this, associate experience can vary dramatically, from OK to toxic/terrible. I was unfortunate to fall on the latter end of the spectrum. - Long working hours, high stress, unhealthy work-life balance (not uncommon to work 70-90 hours a week), very thankless leadership for all the hours put in -Management thinks about client demands first and employee welfare second (and are very obvious about it) -The tools used for analytics are extremely outdated, poor analytics and statistical practices. This isn't the place to level up your technical skills (but it is the place to level up client-facing skills) - Poor compensation for the hours put in - I ultimately left ZS due to the terrible work culture and am mentally healthier and happier in my new job.

Pros

Good/Smart People, Good Benefits (which is shown as a part of your CTC, Might be around 10% of your CTC) You might get good consulting xperience

Cons

NO / ZERO work life balance They cheat you by giving you a offer letter of a heavy pay package, but at least 35% of it you won't get in hand (25% Deferred Bonus & 10% Non-Cash Benefits like Transportation, Meals, Internet etc.. which many companies provide for free) If you want to grow yourself technically, this is NOT the place for you. Very Basic Technical Work, just to suffice customer immediate needs (and charge them heavily) and no/zero stress on documentation or code reviews or process improvement.
