Pros

1. ZS has a brilliant talent pool to work with - an advantage of selecting the best minds from all second-tier colleges in India (after the IITs, of course!). You end up friends with some really cool and insightful people, who make it fun to be a part of ZS. 2. The work culture is very good and you get a lot of help and learn a lot from your team-members and peers. Learning at work is so much fun at ZS! 3. You're exposed to the client meetings very early in your career, and it helps you develop soft-skills tremendously. A big thumbs-up for that! 4. The work hours are really flexible, and you can always work from home in case of any emergencies. Also, ZS is very flexible regarding leave and holidays. 5. Another cool thing is the cab service, which provide pick-up and drop services all year round. 6. Additionally, ZS thrives to make office a fun place with regular team-outings, track-outings, movie screenings and the occasional ZS parties.

Cons

1. Under-staffing in projects is a major drawback at ZS. With the large volume of work coming in, it makes it very difficult to meet tight deadlines on a small team and budget, which leads to almost all associates ending up working in excess of 10 hours. 2. ZS India works on a very meagre budget for a multi-national consulting firm - repercussions for everyone involved. 3. There's not much flexibility to work across teams and you are expected to work in your area of expertise. This leads to work getting monotonous after a period of time. The bad thing here is, you're not encouraged to work across various workstreams, which I feel, should be encouraged to develop expertise. 4. Lack of flexibility in workstreams and limited career opportunities lead to attrition in huge numbers among associates. About 30% of employees leave every year to explore other avenues.
