      Seeing cool movies and television shows.

      Just saw an ad on Indeed that they need an English Editor again. I thought about it. Then I thought back to what happened. On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving when they did lunch and meeting they said they just had an increase in budget, new clients and the company was doing very well. Then, the next day they sent some of us an email saying don’t come in Monday at your regular time. Be here at 10 am. Then we were all freaked out and this girl ( I won’t name names ) said no one was getting laid off, don’t worry. On Monday at 10, they supposedly laid us all off, but we really just got fired.

      Pros

      In the beginning it seem to be a nice place to work, free food every month cool parties. A very non traditional type of place. However that changed as time went on.

      Cons

      Management showed favoritism towards a certain project managers, even if there were mistakes on their behalf. The QC was usually the scapegoat. In addition beware they usually do lay offs around the Holidays. I was let go a day before Thanksgiving. They lacked in the training department.

      Pros

      Some entertaining content from clients. Decent variety in projects.

      Cons

      Horrific lack of communication. Project Managers play favorites. Very accusatory environment. Never gave feedback. Office felt very cliquey. Hardly any interaction with coworkers. Lots of micromanaging to a detrimental and unproductive level. Some very rude coworkers - HR refused to listen or do anything about it.
