      Pros

      • Bagel/donut Fridays. • Benefits, 401k & vacation days from day one.

      Cons

      • Zeiss refuses to recognize or maximize on individual strengths. • Zeiss allows "good old boy" culture to exist. • Zeiss doesn't listen to team members when asked for advice on how to improve company culture. • Micro-management style at Zeiss sucks the life out one's soul. • Zeiss offers a boatload of training, but they don't offer opportunities to apply what you've learned...so what you've learned is forgotten. • Laying off senior employees shoots yourself in the foot!

      Pros

      (Remote) Possibility of overtime, Low Skill required, casual dress code, diversity.

      Cons

      Reminded me allot of "Office Space". Successes widely overlooked while mistakes are emphasized. Management overwhelmed addressing one disaster after another doesn't have time to discuss/consider/appreciate incremental improvements. Informs employees at the last minute either they need you to work on the weekends or we need you to go home early today.
