Pros

Employees get a paycheck just for showing up. The non-management personnel are knowledgable and work very hard.

Cons

Poor communication, lack of corporate vision, incompetent leadership, below-market compensation, no opportunity for growth.

Pros

Yokogawa Corp of America is fairly well run. Keep your head down and do your job, and it's a safe place to work. Management does vary - there are good and bad managers, same as any place, but in general they care about workers, and it's not high pay, but you have to screw up pretty bad to get fired. Diversity is well respected, and there are groups for every minority. Work-Life balance is great - that's a huge plus. Yeah, pay isn't the best, but that's just fine because it's a relatively chill environment, so do your work and leave at the normal time. IT is well worth it to get paid less, but not be stressed out all the time and have to work 80+ hours a week.

Cons

The "old boys" network still reigns supreme, and working with headquarters in japan is exercise in frustration. Processes are old and antiquated, and change is really hard. Yokogawa wants to be innovative, but internal processes prevent that, changing internal process is tough.
