Outdated Company with outdated processes and outdated Managers

Pros

- Vacations - Not too demanding - Laid back environment

Cons

Professionly prepared employees are not well appreciated because Yazaki won't pay for their value and/or they may know a lot more than their Bosses. No professional growth. People have to wait up to 20-25 years to become a Manager. Managers are chosen based on their lack of skills, to avoid standout more than their bosses. I had never seen a Company with too many people doing nothing.

"Bad Company - Unfair and Unpleasant atmosphere"

Pros

Survive 6 - 12 months without doing anything as nobody knows whats happening on ground.

Cons

Not good place for competitive people. Old employees rule the roost and management turns a blind eye to anything related to oldies . Old timers get all the credit, appreciation, perks and appraisals. New hires have to work ten times harder to gain trust and attention of the management.Totally unfair organisation where owners would fall to any level to shield old employees .

Better think twice before signing up

Pros

- My salary was ok - a lot of room for improvment/ change - but you need to be very persistent and tough to handle the environment - if you are a real tough cookie and don't have a strong conscience you can make a career

Cons

- no structured training/ induction training - very few good managers - no leaders! - communication is very bad, there are activities to improve this by having monthly all employee meetings and newsletters - heavy work (over)load - no time keeping. depending on your manager you might compensate your overhours by taking time off. but forget dreaming about being even. - employees are not appreciated. as long as you function properly there might be praise, but you better not fall sick. I've heard that employees burned out and then got sacked.
