Pros

There are/were good people there, but that's where the pros end. I don't have a positive thing to say about this place other than the people.

Cons

I've never been at a place where the good ol' boy network runs more rampant than it does at YNA. If you're not a member of this network, you'll constantly be looked over or worse, targeted for elimination.

Pros

3 weeks vacation starting for all employees + Christmas week close 6 weeks maternity/paternity leave (very generous) reasonable 401K matching and employee benefits reasonable work hours (at least in my department) some flexibility in work/life balance

Cons

- Does not feel like Upper Management cares about their employees - Pay is below average, HR says they benchmark and pay as per "industry standard" but as far as I can tell they are below it - Bonuses are never at 100% and can be as low as 0% (no 100% is not unusual, but 0% is rather harsh) - No cost of living adjustment through the 2 past years (2022/2023) despite record inflation - Yearly raises are below industry standard - Got rid of work from home and ordered everyone back to the office under the guise of collaboration and being a "one big happy company family"

Pros

There are no pros to this position or company.

Cons

Awful training, they spend 4 months teaching you how to operate an Excel sheet that you will never see again, then expect that to somehow equate to the actual work you’ll be doing in a completely different software. Managers are rude and disrespectful of your time. I don’t think there’s a single friendship in this office, the environment is hostile and negative. Working remote two days out of the week was somewhat ideal, but they took that away for the “culture” of the office despite every single person hating it there. The position itself is awful, you’ll have no idea what you’re doing most of the time and if you ask too many questions they’ll judge you despite their horrific training. The culture is horrendous, their idea of “team bonding” which happens maybe once a year, is taking up your lunch break to participate in sad, stupid activities that remind everyone how horrible the place really is. They also fail to mention the amount of Spanish that occurs both in the office and with the customers, so if you’re not somewhat familiar with the language it’s an additional struggle on top of everything already being wildly confusing. I wouldn’t wish this position or company on my worst enemy, and since leaving and starting somewhere new I’m even more appalled at how awful it was. Everyone except management stays for maybe 3 years, and that’s pushing it.
