Pros

Work-life balance for my department at least Friendly colleagues

Cons

Upper management is so far removed from the bottom line. Feedback provided to HR is not taken seriously Overall horrible communication amongst employees. Lack of internal development / career progression for current employees - always hiring external people (for what) Discrimination between job roles / levels even though its stated in the employee handbook Does not actually take employee wellbeing into account when making decisions - cutting bonuses.

Pros

Lots of leave, good work life balance

Cons

1) Subpar and toxic middle management. E.g. a particular line manager was severely ability-challenged in terms of work, passing off her employees' work as her own and cutting them off from the next level(s) of management etc. She also launched surprise terminations on her employees without written reason, laughing in their faces during the termination meetings which she orchestrated. The fact that such actions were tolerated by HR and management is a problem itself. 2) Unethical and lacking in transparency over termination process, if there is any in place. Apart from the regional HR and management keeping mum about these issues, the Ethics Dept at the Global office, though alerted, did not conduct a thorough investigation i.e. did not interview affected colleagues. 3) Culture is superficially understood and hypocritically executed, paying lip service to the "No Retaliation" policy to ground feedback. 4) Little progression observed for locals. Top positions at regional (Asia and Africa) office in Singapore occupied by mostly non locals and non Asians. 5) Low efficiency and productivity, lots of waste in terms of spending. All in all, a major red flag for any potential employee - Business doesn't look well-managed regionally, and anyone can be terminated without warning or reason, whether you are on probation, or in a contract or permanent position.

Pros

* Good work life balance * Good for freshers only. * Udemy access

Cons

* In APAC (india) team, some regional bias is there. * More of contractor and freelancer based company * From my own experience, they may replace full time engineers with contractors if you ask questions, or put your views or any lame reasons. This is mostly done to control cost. HR is ineffective to resolve such issues. * Projects are more or less of B.tech project level , normal or below standard projects. But its good for freshers. * Managers are worried about their output, in course of the project they will not think about the team members development. This is true, so beware of fake promises during hiring. * So far I had a worst experience working in the developers center at APAC.
