Pros

Good food provided during busy time; working overtime from home when necessary

Cons

everything else; no organization; no training classes; no standard procedure; desktops do not provide enough information; everybody does the job "their way"; meetings are always pointless and they do not listen to your feedback; every week is something different; they expect you to do extra without the proper tools and resources; horrible micro-managing; stressful; not enough employees in the membership department; no structure; negativity; everything is manual, which makes it easy to screw up the system; they are still trying to figure out there ancient systems and software; clean ups on a weekly basis;

Pros

Freedom to work from home - unless you live in Dallas, TX.

Cons

Members and chapter staff in senior-team roles - helping out their personal circles; Expert management within senior leadership is non-existent; Command and control CEO. Zero encouragement of work-life-balance. Job security teeters daily and is based upon any conflict a member may present with an employee. "World Class" means an office in Dallas, TX?

Member-led causes conflicts

Pros

Work from home. Flexible schedule. Global travel. Talented and experienced team members. Ability to make connections to leaders around the world.

Cons

Leadership is only interested in delivering on member demands at the expense of management team growth. Long term strategy often changes based on various member-led committee demands. Staff often competes with each other to please the members they work with regardless of impact on short or long-term strategy.
