Thank you for the review and for the positive rating. Work and life balance has and always will be a focus area for YPO's leadership. Each manager with direct reports is encouraged to in-turn encourage their team member and make sure they have at least 15 days of time off each year. This is in addition to the public holidays each country recognizes. Having associates and other colleagues in over 20 countries around the world is one of the most interesting features of working for YPO. Time zones are a factor with regards to the structure of someones day, but we encourage people to still work a very average work week and to manage their time worked each day appropriately. Communication is always vital and if an associate or contractor has any concerns, we hope they relay this to their manager. Thanks again for the review!

A good company but...

Pros

Good benefits and paid, nice people, pretty good company culture, some teams are very flexible, opportunity to travel

Cons

No clear growth plan for most employees. Not much to learn after a year or two. Lack of internal communication with managers/senior management. High turnover rate for lower-level employees (specialist/analyst). Majority of team members are easy to work with but some are not, especially when these are your manager/director

Thanks for leaving a review and for the positive rating overall. We take pride in having happy and fulfilled associates and having an average tenure of over 5 years is testament to that. YPO supports it's members through our mission of “Better Leaders Through Lifelong Learning and Idea Exchange.” which means there is always room for evolution and change. There isn't always a clear career path when you first join YPO, but we've found our associates enjoy the chance to learn, grow and progress in ways they hadn't imagined previously. We agree that communication is vital and am sorry to hear you didn't think there was enough. It's always a focus area for leadership though, for example, having monthly CEO live chats with the entire organization this past year or so has been hugely beneficial. Thanks again for the review!

Thank you for the positive review and for being an important part of the organization! The Chapter Manager position is an important role that supports the YPO membership geographically. All Chapter Managers are employed directly with the individual chapter and separately from the larger YPO global organization. Many YPO management associates started in chapter roles and progressed throughout the organization, even up to the senior leadership level. Thank you again for the review though!
