Pros

Very good at splashing the cash for Christmas party's and corporate events. Pay is very good

Cons

Tell graduates that they are protected from redundancies as they are training. Make them redundant none the less. Will make staff who are working on projects to win more work redundant to protect managers children who have been on overheads watching YouTube for 6 months in a job

Pros

I'm really struggling to think of anything that WorleyParsons offers that than is even slightly better than average. Perhaps work-life balance is on par with the competition.

Cons

The company has managed the downturn very badly and it feels like a bit of sinking ship. Not winning work so future prospects are poor. When they do win works it tends to be the dregs, or they land themselves in hot water by failing to do sufficient due diligence and agreeing to deliver far more than they're capable of doing. Little value given to employee. Minimal prospects for development and training due to costs. Average to low salaries. Poor benefits. Below par pension offering. Poor communication. Rather infuriating tendancy to try and pretend that everything is just fine and sweep anything negative under the carpet.

Pros

Good pay and good benefits. Flexible work environment for many. Leadership is open to hearing from those in lower positions than themselves. Opportunities for foreign assignments in operations.

Cons

Little value for the investment made by dedicated employees. Layoffs and rehiring practices create a culture that screams "no job security here". Layoff of overhead staff make it basically impossible to deliver what is expected because there is simply not enough time to do everything expected.
