      Pros

      I can't think of any pros.

      Cons

      Like any contracting company, job security is based on projects awarded. WP does not have consistency in bringing new projects and providing stable jobs. when you're laid off, they treat very poorly. No advance warning, or severance package. I worked here for 4 years and my lay off experience was not good. I was eventually rehired in 2010 but two years later layoffs started again and I left on my own terms never to return.

      Pros

      Provides great opportunity for autonomy, their pay rates are above market and offer big project exposure. Very flexible working conditions.

      Cons

      The launch of a new business line has divided the company to the point where benefits and pay increases are absent in one business line and abundant in the other. No opportunities available.

      Pros

      It's fast-paced, challenging and unpredictable. You are constantly kept on your toes and there is never a dull day. Amazing colleagues and a great team. The people you work with are what make this job fun and worth it. You feel like you're part of a global community.

      Cons

      Long long long hours. Lots of fire fighting instead of implementing steps to prevent fires. Too many steps and too much manual administration. Job insecurity. Lack of career development and training.
