I loved working with the management team and I enjoyed most if not all my coworkers over the course of several years working here. They always manage to hire a great team who work well together. This alone makes the work much more enjoyable. Management strives to work with your skills and talents to put you to work doing what you're good at and helping you learn new areas of the store or work on new projects by pairing you with someone who can teach you the ropes.

Cons

Lots of stocking and recovering can feel repetitive at times and lots of standing at the register began to hurt my back over the years. Make sure to wear good, comfortable shoes that provide the proper support.

The merchandise at World Market is really eclectic and unique. The team that i worked with was the main reason that I stayed for as long as I did.

Cons

Yearly reviews with the highest raise possible only being 50 cents Lack of employee communication. There was only one storewide meeting a year.
