Payroll sucks

Pros

They give you fair amount of training which is a Plus, to make sure you know how to assist a customer.

Cons

They keep messing up my Pay, It is now Dec.17, 2018 and I'm still waiting to be paid from Nov.30 pay period. On Nov.30, I was told they forgot to submit my hours in to payroll, to wait 2 more weeks to be paid, on Dec.14, on that date..I was told due to Christmas party, to wait to be paid on today, Monday December 17, 2018...and I've been here over an hour now and they don't seem to know where my paycheck is, not sure it was even submitted again....Just a disaster...driving over 45 minutes each time to pick up a check doesn't make sense, and they keep turning me around. Looking at other reviews, I see the same issues...They wont pay you your money. I will NEVER recommend a person to work for this company. So after sitting around in the waiting area for a hour...HR comes back to tell me my hours has Never been submitted again....this is a whole month, I've been waiting to be paid...Who is responsible for this? I will NEVER work for this company again!

Wipro @ Onshore

Pros

Good company for entry level jobs at offshore. Many trainings provided by talent transformation team to enhance skills of employees. Plenty of client projects at different geographic locations. Relocation expenses paid fully. You will get free pizza if you attend one of Wipro's town hall meetings at onshore client places.

Cons

Typical Indian MNC with an Indian mindset. Follows cheap tactics to deny one of their progression. I was not given hike and progression in an appraisal cycle and I was a given a reason that I've submitted my review two days past deadline (management kept shifting deadline back and forth so I didn't know I was actually late in submission). Less competitive salary for a skilled employer with several years experience in app development and maintenance. Management and HR is not easy to approach. Their policies abuse their employees systematically and silently. Many past employees will have the same to say. In USA, some of the guys may have faced this situation. When you file for an extension with new LCA (with a higher salary than your current visa's), HR follows certain tactics to slow down your payroll based on your new salary. In other words, you continue to get your salary based on the previous LCA (less salary) for certain months before the new LCA (more salary) comes into effect (typically 2-6 months depending on RFE and all). Appraisal is a total joke. I've seen many useless guys and girls getting a good hike and ratings, while deserving candidates are left alone.

Pros

Decent pay (will hold you over until you find a second or better job), paid training, good availability on phones, easy work, over time available sometimes.

Cons

Micromanagement, treat employees like children, low pay, doesn’t pay employees if they miss work for the bed bug issue they have, a lot of favoritism goes on, no growth opportunities w/ company, only offer 45 minutes for lunch, only allowed a certain time to use the bathroom, HR department is rude and unhelpful.
