Pros

Was hired as a fresh college graduate with an average GPA, one mediocre internship. Initial salary was low for tech, but better than minimum wage.

Cons

Managers are awful, they expect you to do their job and responsibilities for them. Managers and support departments will -always- try to pass the workload onto somebody else. I ended up working an L2 job as L1, and in 5 years of employment was never offered the mandatory performance feedback or any opportunity for raise. You will likely NOT be assigned to a project that is relevant to your professional experience/career. This is an acceptable temporary company if you're looking for a job with a mediocre paycheck while working on personal projects/job hunting on weekends. Additionally, tenured professionals who are hired on for a specific project related to their career can use this a filler on their resume to boost their time in industry.

Pros

Fairly good pay, good offices

Cons

no diversity, even 90% of the local hires are Indian, very very Indian, need to hire local people in the UK to create a local presence supported by offshore and Indian community. Starting from Europe head down to the consultant level all the management people are Indian.

Pros

You'll get to work with Apple. You'll get to sue a "multi billion dollar a year" cyber security company after they treat you like trash so they can look good to the client, apple.

Cons

After they send you a whole MacBook Pro to your home in FORT WAYNE IN, eventually you'll come to learn this wasn't a remote job. It's an onsite one for Austin TX. Then after you get told if you want to keep the job you just accepted you need to be on site by Mon the following week, told this on a Friday. Then after you arrive and put in the expense for the travel they'll tell you they're only covering the plane tickets and that you'll have to cover the rental car, hotel, food, and gas all on your own. After being told no sane human being would have agreed to that you'll be met with a "sorry but I was clear on the phone with you" when you try to explain being uncomfortable paying for someone else's mistake because NO BODY would accept a job they have to give up a whole paycheck just to make it to work DUE TO NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. And then when you stand your ground and get HR involved to help resolve that obvious issue, you'll then face retaliation for apparently making someone else's job harder because someone didn't check to see if the person they're interviewing for the job is even in the state the job is located in! Oh and then you'll find out you're the 3rd person they've done this to and have been trying to fill this spot for 8 months and the client (Apple) is getting upset. Yes this is all true and can back it all up with screenshots from teams that I'll be using in court.
