Pros

New CEO Hikmet promises a return to productivity and efficiency after a consulted said workers were on the lazy side. Looking forward to opportunities that may come from restructuring in 2011.

Cons

Most of our business is overseas. Huge satellite location being formed in Lithuania. Most employees guess that that Denver campus will become a skeleton in 3 years.

Pros

Western Union provides a much needed service to their customers. The company does assist others that are in need through out the world.

Cons

Western Union looks at saving numbers over the talent of their employees. They are currently reducing staff and the associates knowledge does not take presidence over their salary. Higher salary and long term assocaites are being let go to save company costs.

Cons

Politic work culture between corridors. If you want to stay, build relationship with your boss.
