Pros

Some company benefits, they use to have better.

Cons

MY REVIW IS FOR WESTERN UNION LAROC IN FORUM 2 IN SANTA ANA, COSTA RICA......3 stars would be too much of a rating for what this company has become. I worked here for 10 years and this company went from being one of the best companies to work in Costa Rica to becoming just another transnational company with an average quality. The decline started in 2020 with the company's "leaders" restructuring the company and just went downhill from there. I won't get much into details since this should just be a short review but if you are thinking of applying to this company for one of these following departments: Any department in Compliance area, Customer Service, Digital or Collections ( retails collections or associate collector) know you will enter into a toxic work environment with terrible management leadership (save a few) that have almost zero people skills and what it actually takes to be a good supervisor, manager or more. You will be just treated as a number and growth inside seems minimal. From speaking with ex co workers that are still in WU, even escalating someone who has a management position with human resource has almost zero impact. Also you see there a lot of cronyism with directors and managers. So it not uncommon to see a manager promoting a friend or someone they get along with to a supervisor position (worse thing is they don't even have people skills to lead a small team, if seen it with my own eyes). Any other department other than those mentioned are still decent and ok. Doing this review for anyone that wants to get a real world view and not some fake smile review to pretend that everything is fine.
