Pros

Flexible, work from home, choose your own schedule Potential for 401K after about a year

Cons

Pay is poor for the job involved (confirming claims) Managers laid off and replaced and now you can't get them to respond Inconsistent guidance on how to do work No way to move up in company No raises/performance increases. New hires paid less than the rate I was hired for. You are replaceable and they know it. Stressful work environment where you are never sure you are doing things right and you could be fired at any moment because they don't communicate regularly but instead rely on random evaluations to determine your performance. You are just a cog in the machine. They do not care if you stay or go. Zero investment in employee retention.
