Pros

My particular office was tight-knit and "family like". There was a lot of team work in our small office and most jumped through hoops to get the job done. I have very good friends from this select group of people. Many had an awesome sense of humor that always "lightened up the atmosphere" when things got rough.

Cons

It is not uncommon to put in 70+ hours for clients. You sell your soul for peanuts ($). This company is known company wide for their "insulting" pay scales. Bring your own water, unless you like it from the tap. That's how cheap they are. Upper management is completely out-of-touch with employees and their efforts.

Pros

The flexibility to work from home is excellent. Also, our health and dental benefits are excellent--a little expensive, but top-notch. Casual office atmosphere is nice. Vacation time is also more than most companies offer!

Cons

Disorganization and lack of leadership in the company creates problems with remote offices. For a small company, the separation of senior management and staff is more like a large, impersonal company. Career paths are not large. Employees working 60+ hours a week is not unusual, and is of no concern to the management. Being highly focused on cost-cutting, the company reduces quality of life of employees, and risks relationships with clients.
