A terrible place to be.

Pros

The Frederick office is really good at selling the company as a great place to work.

Cons

No one takes the time to show new people how to do their job. Everyone has to swim or drown. There is a lot of back stabbing in the company. You are also expected to sit in your seat all day and not to communicate to any fellow employees while you are on the clock.

Pros

Remote job that pays on time,

Cons

You can sit around all day waiting on work. You may spend 8 hours to only work one. What is presented as a good opportunity such as being asked to join a new group (mine was factuality) to then be tested on tasks you do not do anymore that your job is dependent on passing. Did not receive quality reports or feedback for over 5 months. They do not have a support program in place at all for their employees. New training is occasionally overed but then contradicts your prior training. Told we were going to be receiving training and instead were given an exam that could lead to termination. According to message boards an average of 85% of takers failed the test. They did not allow you to work for over a week before you found out if you passed or failed. No communication during the process. Some failed but were reinstated while others who scored higher were fired. Don't walk run from this company. There is zero stability. It sounds like the new guidelines for keeping your job have changed and you will live week to week wondering if this week will be the time you are fired without any explanation other than you have not held to their standard of quality. That standard will be unknown to you because they change it regularly.

It was good while it lasted.

Pros

Never boring tasks. Sometimes, a topic is so interesting, I cannot stop reading. It provided good flexibility, I could work whenever I wanted, but not anymore. It's a W-2 position with some benefits, like 401k and (unaffordable) health insurance.

Cons

This year, 2024, everything good about this job went downhill. They hired so many new raters, that there is not enough work for everybody. I, and all other raters, spend many unpaid hours just waiting for tasks. I feel insecure and stressed and am looking for another job.
