      Pros

      Great company to start entry-level jobs such as teller, personal banker, customer service rep. Benefits are available for part-timers as well.

      Cons

      It's all about the numbers! At the end of the day it's how may solutions one has sold. It takes away the realtionship building aspect and almost creates an environment where bankers game the system just to show better numbers. Bankers, Managers and any employee on the retail side does not necessarily need to have any bachelor's degree just numbers to show.

      Pros

      I think Charlotte is a great city and overall, the bank has a lot of opportunities. It is important to get in the "network" ASAP as you will be left behind.

      Cons

      The i-bank culture is disjointed. their message is we are different from wall street but at the end of the day all i-bank cultures are the same.

      Pros

      Generous benefits, tuition reimbursement, vacation time (3 weeks), professional atmosphere. Company is well-respected and supported with national advertising. For such a large company, the corporate side of Wells didn't impact our local department as much as I have seen from other companies.

      Cons

      When you do need to contact corporate Wells, there is little communication or support. Interaction with the HR department is impersonal - through a call center. We felt like a "drop in the bucket" to Wells after the Acordia acquisition.
