Pros

There was a certain amount of freedom in my position which allowed me to complete the required job tasks more effectively and efficiently while still working as a team with the different facilities, whether remotely or directly.

Cons

The company places people in supervisory positions who are not qualified to be in these roles. Needless to say this is problematic on many different levels and is counterproductive not only for the employees directly involved but to the company as a whole. There is a great deal of harassment at certain facilities and when reporting these infractions to management you are told to ignore it and to handle it on your own, which is illegal.

Pros

Renowned product range and leading competitor in the global market place, well known for research and development of pumps for a wide range of uses.

Cons

To be completely honest when Weir took on the business from the North Group everyone was filled with promise and performed well for the company, then the senior management team were slowly replaced with people that lacked conviction that couldn't even exercise basic communication skills to its employees, trust was lost, gross incompetence set in and the business that said it cared about the well-being of its employees became strategic in managing skilled, and competent employees out the door, this included collusion between new members of Hr Department and also Safety department,Zero Harm is a myth, you are hurting people both mentally and physically and you should be eternally ashamed of yourself.
