Pros

nothing except so called global company, ( with outdated management style)

Cons

No talent would like to stay, because: ---no work life balance, manager forced you to work long hours (to midnight/public holiday), without pay. Plus, if you come back late next morning, please pay the penalty. ---old fashion office facilities ---bad management style and outdated business process ---no improvement can be promoted, management is resistant to make change, or doesn’t take ownership to make change. --- high staff turnover, HR is hopeless, inefficient and unhelpful ---people who is incapable get reward, talent get sacked ---questionable professional knowledge and manner from management Too many people have left, no talent would like to stay, it was the worst company we had worked for (sharing same opinion from other colleagues).

Pros

Barely anything positive to say about this place. Met some decent people in my time there, but overall the company is woeful.

Cons

Everything! Outdated facilities and outdated mindsets. As a senior manager there myself I tried to bring them forward but ultimately it was beyond their understand and didn't fit their hitler style regime! The biggest issue is the inexperience of the senior management. Roles often go to the wrong people - junior, lacking in experience - but based not on skill but instead filling a minority gap so to speak or cheap.....a bit like their product quality and investment! HR is a joke - waste of time and think they can leave people hanging after conducting successful interviews for months - then are "shocked" when the person finds employment elsewhere! The harder you work at this place to "try" and pull them forward the more they regress and faulter! They rattle on about safety - but in reality even basics are not covered - simple things a normal person knows like smoke alarms tested (not done for years) and fire systems in an inoperable state of repair.....but the reality is the company attitude towards people is the worst I have ever seen. Generally a "tick the box" style of company with no depth.

Pros

Markets are largely insulated from competitive pressure, so the core products are quite profitable and for a manufacturer, has been more stable than most. Historically has had a capable, loyal workforce but in recent years has devalued good people to the point where many have left and the survivors feel like they are under siege.

Cons

Owned by the Weir Group in Scotland, who is quite distant from the operation, other than to constantly demand more profits. Has been acquisition crazy and has consolidated many businesses to increase profits, at the expense of the employees. Quite topheavy with layers of self centered executives who like to abuse people.
