If you absolutely don't have better options, then take it.
Pros
Pay is decent and good health benefits, when business is going great then there is plenty of overtime for people who want it.
Cons
Management is horrendous, completely incompetent. I am not spiteful in the least and would never bash a company without reason. I rate the company low because of the management they hire, especially here in the Fort Worth location. They hire managers who have absolutely no clue about machining or even assembling, they stress to the managers how people need to work faster and harder, even though the workers are working as hard and fast as they possibly can. Management have absolutely no clue what it takes to work on the machine shop floor, and they absolutely should have some knowledge of what it takes to do actual work. The people who had it worst are the assemblers. Assemblers complain of aching and injuries and nobody does anything about it, and if they do, they take 100 years to fix it. Management will stand around and just watch from the bleachers, completely lazy and unwilling to help. My only true complaint is management, otherwise the job itself isn't hard. Plus there is hardly ANY room for advancement, they hire outside, no upward mobility.
