Pros

Free computer equiptment no strings attached

Cons

Management just dont have a clue what they are doing, the "managers" i had in my 9 month tenure had no experience, couldnt motivate or answer basic questions. All the coaches that have been with the company for years were basically doing the managers job, it was madness. First few weeks training makes you think what a really nice company it is to work for then as time goes by you start to see the cracks. The encourage feedback but only if its positive, any negative feedback is ignored they dont know how to deal with customers or staff. Its an American company trying to operate in an American way in Europe managed by Europeans, its all over the place in terms of an indentity and clear vision. The amount of money this company wastes is mind boggling, i gave up pointing things out as nobody cared. I used to hit my metrics every week without fail but i was told by a "manager" that my work was inconsistent but yet they failed to provide me with any evidence of this, shut me out the system and never to be spoken to again. Probation contracts are not worth the paper they are written on, its basically a way the company can hire/fire anyone that dares give an opinion.

Great Place to Grow

Pros

It's a great place to learn, be challenged, and develop your career. There are endless opportunities to lead projects, learn from intelligent colleagues, and develop new skills, all in an exciting, very fast-paced environment. You feel supported by senior leadership who actually want to see you succeed and grow and will give you opportunities to lead and drive strategy for the business. Wayfair also has a fantastic company culture with great work/life balance. We work hard, but we have a lot of fun as well!

Cons

Leveling/titling at Wayfair is a little interesting and doesn't always seem to match with years of experience. Most people seem to come in at the same level, regardless of the prior years of experience they have, and they tend to down-level people quite frequently from where they were at previous companies. That being said, you're given the support and tools to build your career and move up the ladder pretty quickly.

Pros

People you work with and friends you make along the way (only reason they got 2 stars ) Free food (take it and store it in your drawer) and ignore what the company says, rinse them for everything they have as you get mistreated anyway.

Cons

Lied to from the hiring process being advised you would only work ‘occasional’ weeks but they do a 3 month rosta and if you’re new you’re going to be working weekends for at least 9 months so don’t fall into their trap. You are metriced on everything and if you’re not up to their ridiculous ‘standard’ then they make out like you’re not good enough at your job. You will be on probation FOREVER as you won’t meet the metrics they desire to pass. The managers play a good game of whispers to make you paranoid all the time ... they are ALWAYS watching you. They will give you a ‘coaching’ session every 3 ish weeks and pick apart all your faults from your phone calls. Your mental health will be used against you ALL the time. Just remember the company is there to make money and not to treat you well.
