Pros

- Healthcare benefits are inexpensive. - Location. - Good name to have on resume.

Cons

- Low base salary . They depend too much on stock options and bonuses to make you salary add up to a decent number. - Meeting heavy workdays with very little time to do your actual work. - Managers don't have the support from directors to be able to solve issues on their own. Directors are almost never around and you have to schedule 1/2 an hour meetings weeks in advance. - Lots of fighting and tension between departments. - Issues constantly get raised to a director-level and managers can't solve anything or do their jobs. Issues take months to get addressed and are rarely solved because of this and the fact that the Directors are so hands off with their department and don't have time to meet with their teams. - As newly launched initiates grow and start to become larger, the company is very slow to hire people for team to be able to support the increased workload. - Reviews are twice a year, and the review process takes months and months to go through. Once you finish your end of year review it's time to start the mid-year review process. - Simple projects are made complex by layers and layers of processes. - Open floorpans with very noisy work environments, and zero privacy. Party-like atmosphere with people drinking and large groups of people stopping in front of your desk to have loud conversations. - No consistent work from home policy. Some departments have flexibility, others don't trust their employees and have a strict no working from home policy.

Pros

- Office location is good. - The expansion of the company did lead to internal opportunities at first. - Some of the people working there are very intelligent, diligent and professional co-workers. - Opportunities to network.

Cons

- Poor senior leadership. - External hiring of leadership positions was not well thought out, nor met the needs of the team. - Pay was less than for more junior positions. - Poor work/life balance due to hiring needs not being met. - Team seen as replaceable if targets not met. Targets did not allow time for training or development and resulted in unpaid overtime being necessary. - Review structure was not adhered to.

Pros

Fruits, lower level employees are friendly, pod outing

Cons

Everything work related is toxic: - tasks: manual and a monkey can do them, every 3-6 month a big restructuring happening and you will have a new manager. After 1 year you feel so demotivated and powerless - welcome to the Wayfair depression - culture: director informed us that there is an up or out culture. Either you get promoted or you need to leave the company. Lower level people are nice (interns, graduates) - career: promotion very rare, most of people leave before they reached 2 years, no learning curve other than "work and keep your mouth shut". Everyone is looking for a new job - it's awfull to walk the floors. *attention* they fire lots of people within probation period with no reasons - managers are sharks and their smile is fake! They have no idea what they do and can't teach you anything, as add on, they treat you like numbers. Better try everything to be liked by them - HR is a joke they lie whenever possible! - salary is below Berlin average - Workplace: new building is under construction so prepare for loud construction noice, overhours requested but not paid
