Pros
very high pay and great benefits! convincing act of "support and family environment" from management
Cons
WELL I should have paid more attention to their reputation! I was hired on during the holidays because they fire like crazy during that time, however after the holidays they tend to "cut the fat" and let go of reps with less time at the company. if you're new there and you were hired during busy season, you're starting off with your head on a chopping block. which is TERRIBLE considering Wayfair is the only call center that pays employees a living wage and supplies benefits, they claim to offer these things because they care about their employees like family and will do anything to keep you. However many former employees told me this is not true, and then i found that out to be true the hard way. Wayfair recently cut way back on what they're willing to do to help customers. We can't replace or refund at all anymore, the only thing we can do is offer %20 of the purchase towards store credit, which caused customers to turn on us and gives them a terrible experience. I was let go because customers kept calling back to get another agent who might refund or replace their damaged items, and no one is able to. This caused me and MANY MANY of my amazingly talented co workers to lose our jobs. Also they're not at all understanding of employee emergencies that cause them to leave work. I had a friend get fired for going to her mother's chemotherapy appointment. I had another friend who was fired for complaining once about their manager. Wayfair will not hesitate to drop you at the first chance they get, so go for the job, enjoy being able to afford things while you can but always have a back up for when they inevitably fire you for garbage reasons.
