Pros

Work from home, that means that you are saving time and money

Cons

Slavery like policies. When being interviewed I've been told on the great an "rapid" progression opportunities and the great atmosphere in general. I would like to mention that rapid usually means rapid, the progression opportunities that the company offers are exactly the same as for the other companies (at least 9 months in current position) * Progression opportunity only if you are the managers favourite and only if you manage somehow to exceed the targets or if you keep snitching on others. 1- During the interview, no one has explained the exact volume of the job or your duties responsibilities and targets loads of targets and you being another number for the company. * You have to stick to your targets and the company doesn't help * Very easy to mess your adherence when you are being changed from emails to calls every hour or so or if your schedule is very messy * You have to make sure that in case of any IT issue you have to follow up on your adherence as your managers won't and you will lose your precious bonus if you have more than 3 late occurrences. * You have no aftercall time allocated for you. * You don't have time allocated to follow up with the customers or couriers (And you need to do it a lot) * Month to month your metrics and targets will be higher and higher and your bonus harder to earn 2- No one ever mentioned that I have to be in front of my PC having only one break of unpaid 45 minutes. So despite you working for 8:30H in total, you are getting paid only for 7:45H and I am not even sure if that is 100% legal. (7:45H no breaks included/no breaks paid) 3- No one ever mentioned during the interview that you are not allowed to take any annual leave during November or December so basically you can find yourself in a situation when you're gonna lose your annual leave as you cannot move more than 5 days for the next year. (Again not sure if it is 100% legal) * To get any paid day off you need to be extremely lucky 4- Very poor support from managers or coaches that very often are attending to the same training as you are(that said they have exactly the same knowledge as you or even less) 5- Benefits are kept to minimal they don't even offer the compensation of your internet. And the VHI is a very basic program 6- The salary offered is very low compared to the workload and the demands that the company has even if you exceed your targets they keep asking for more (as you are not allowed for any Not Ready time) * That said, if you need to go to the toilet better think it twice and keep an empty bottle next to you so you won't mess with your Not Ready time (Not Ready Time means that you are unavailable for new call or email) 7- Also forgot to mention that you are constantly monitored and that you need your camera turned on every time, screens recorded every call or email, and if you dare to go to the toilet or to make a coffee you will be reached by someone with a question "is everything ok?" pretending to be nice but we all got the meaning of it 8 - The company is very toxic together with the people working there, multiple times faking or even passive-aggressive even tho we are on targets or even exceed. * Due to all above the employee turn over is very big and will be even worse if the company keeps the same slavery toxic and fake tactics. 9- Last and not least a tip for people with great experience: If you have experience please go somewhere else where you will be valued and admired, if you are coming here with hope of progression only due to your experience you are strongly mistaken and you are about to loose your valuable time!

Pros

- Free beer (to drown your sorrows?) - Snacks

Cons

- LOW compensation, I'm talking $15k underpaid in the current Boston market - PMs really don't value the hard work and time put in by creative - Expectations to be a business leader are strangely high for designers - Your machine/Apple computer will only work 60% of the time because IT can't figure out the issue (whole company works on PCs) - Low mobility and ability to manage up

Pros

Kind coworkers, friendly stakeholders, LinkedIn Learning, well-decorated offices

Cons

Incredible turnover, uncompetitive pay, unstable operations, no support from senior management, and an incredibly toxic and racist environment. Working at Wayfair was a horrible experience. Because of my lower position compared to others on my team, plenty of responsibilities fell on me as a "stretch opportunity" even though it was just an excuse to overwork and underpay me. Each review cycle, I outperformed most people on my team and set the bar in a handful of metrics; however, minor opportunity areas (such as one-off mistakes that were not trivial) prevented me from getting the title and compensation I deserved. It was exhausting to take on more and more projects without proper recognition and pay. There was a metaphorical carrot that was continuously dangled over my head, which only resulted in extreme burnout and no promise for my career growth. Furthermore, upper management takes credit for the work that the L1s and L2s produce, only looking out for themselves and not the greater team. Finally, stop talking about DEI efforts and actually start to make actionable change.
