Offering good benefits doesn't make up for the fact that the pay is pathetic.
Pros
Good benefits, a 100% matching 401K option, full coverage health-dental, tickets to sporting events, company funding of sports leagues and other social events, fully stocked snack room, three weeks paid time off. CSN is also a resume builder and you can learn some valuable skills for career advancement. The only problem is that the desired career advancement is probably not going to be within the company because of the pay. CSN is also a great social atmosphere and can be a fun place to work during times when the company is doing well. There is a laid back feel to the company which is always a good thing but I think that has a lot to do with the people that work there.
Cons
The pay is pathetic, and is definitely hurting the company's overall morale.Furthermore, the company is losing talent because they have ceased to offer competitive salaries. Even worse, the company has outsourced much of its labor (and continues to do so) at an alarming pace. With operations in Vietnam as well as the Philippines, the quality of work (within Marketing and Customer service), as well as the perceived job security, has decreased considerably.
