Pros

Employees treat each other with respect, like friends and family. I can count on my fellow co-workers to do their best.

Cons

Grab your headset, get ready to do some serious calling. That's all you will end up doing. The idea of advancement after working for the company for 6 months is a joke, you'll learn this from the disgruntled individuals sitting next to you who have been there for 9 months or a year. You'll probably start off with some warm leads and then just start cold calling like crazy. I was placed into a market that had already been called on for 2 years by 9 other people. If you want to work in telemarketing, this is a great gig. They pay is low and they set the bar so high you would never reach it. If you want to be part of a startup, offer input and help develop any sort of useful strategies, you'll be thoroughly disappointed at Wayfair. The one they got going for them is a lot of young people who dont know any better and don't mind drinking the kool aid. Poor middle management, people who get in early but don't have enough experience for management positions. Shady business practice. High pressure sales teams lead to bad deals. Now that they took investments from the outside, they have no good reason to treat people nice.

Pros

Used to be a great place to meet other young recent graduates in the city. They used to have hiring standards like having a college degree - not anymore.

Cons

If you are looking for a sales job, the compensation is well below (base + bonus) most over companies in Boston. Bonus is still at managers/ upper managements discretion, they are known to not give a bonus. Lack of transparency with bonus qualifiers doesnt make it easy to make a bonus. There isn't much room for growth in terms of sales. People tend to leave after a few years since there isn't much room for growth. Changing departments = getting a lower salary
