Pros

Ability to contribute to a quickly growing company.

Cons

Highly political due to quick growth. Upper management was not professional and were inexperienced. It was more about who liked you than what you could bring to the table.

Pros

An interesting and challenging set of business problems to solve Relatively good work-life balance based on the organization you are in

Cons

This is a place where your managers can repeatedly throw you under the bus and that is ok. A lot of incompetent"old guard" that have risen through the ranks to director levels yet praised and protected Over reliance on organizational design to "fix" things. Culturally, this is a tough place to work at. Honesty is not rewarded. Passiveness is encouraged. Senior leaders are unable to make decisions in the face of ambiguity. Hiring practices are not honest to the people being hired. Lots of bait and switch.

Pros

Stock price. Others have put snacks as a pro, but you can get better snacks at virtually any other tech company.

Cons

- Constantly changing priorities: Leadership does not seem to know what they're doing across any org. The list of priorities shifts based on whatever shiny new object a former consultant deems important, or based on whatever Amazon is doing. Leadership will tell you to "ruthlessly prioritize your time" but then they will require you to do menial tasks that serve no real impact other than "checking a box" and if you push back, you get told to just work harder. - Zero work life balance: Expect to work 12 hour days and weekends in just about any department because leadership refuses to open up headcount and just keeps increasing the speed at which they expect work to be done and the amount of work. - Bad managers with zero training: Most people managers have little to no experience in the work their department does (I once heard an AD in marketing ask what a "CTR meant") and they also offer almost no management training. Expect to spend most of your time explaining remedial things to leadership vs. actually doing the work, and receive zero professional development. - Constant turnover: Rumor has it that the company is at nearly a 50% attribution rate, so expect your favorite coworker to be putting in their notice within the next year. - Bullying and favoritism every which way: You will get bullied by management, and any mistakes you make will get used against you during review / calibration.
