Pros

Good work-life balance, rarely necessary to work outside normal business hours. Free movie screenings (if you want to stay after work to watch them). Employees are proud to work here.

Cons

No formal performance appraisals. Lack of mentoring and training opportunities. Difficult to transfer jobs outside of department or business unit as management wants to keep experienced people in place. Company assumes that employees are lucky to land a job in a studio and don't make an effort to make employees happy.

Pros

They offer a lot of services to employees to help employees manage/balance work/life. Senior management is pretty accessible to employees, regular town hall meetings are held to update employees. And you get to see all big title movies prior to its release in the marketplace.

Cons

Not a place to be if you are looking to develop and grow. Company spend very little time on employee development, training or mentoring. The culture here is that each person manages his/her career. Your success in the company depends on who you know, not what you know.
