Pros

I worked for WTW and I would say they have the best people to work with regardless of the role and the level. The management is supportive if you want to do something new; peers are always there to help out.

Cons

Limited technology if you are on client. You are bound to use the tech of the core product

Pros

-Work life balance is excellent

Cons

-There are WAY too many developers. They need like a quarter of what they have. -There are WAY too many upper managers. They need like a quarter of what they have. -Management plays obvious favorites and is very incompetent. -Becoming more corporate every day. -Work is not challenging at all. -There are no career opportunities. -There is no culture. -ALOT of turnover which apparently doesn't concern management.

Pros

WTW is a large company, and experiences will differ greatly between lines of business, some of which have never and will never cross paths anywhere below the executive level. Within the benefits outsourcing business, a client team developer will find a supportive culture and often challenging work, at least with respect to the unique aspects of the benefits business.

Cons

C# developers tend to be paid less, and for good reason. .Net and C# are designed to have a fairly short learning curve when utilized within a well-defined system. You aren't going to get serious coder chops working here, at least not within the first several years. The benefits business runs on an annual schedule, so forget about fall getaways as that is the busiest time of the year.
