      It was a good place to work before the merger and nothing but a disorganized firm after the merger

      friendly colleagues and some great people to work with, flexible work hours

      Cons

      bad management, incompetent, disorganized firm since the merger, no clear communication, lack of opportunities, promotions are not always based on merit. Since the merger, the stress has increased significantly, high turnover in the office due to lack poor communications and bad management

      Reasonably relaxed atmosphere Nice people who generally have an open door policy Company is making efforts to promote community within the organization

      Cons

      Partly a consequence of different systems and structure, associates still viewed as Watson Wyatt or Towers Perrin not Towers Watson. Not enough done by management to promote teamwork or integrate/educate the different groups so this situation unlikely to change in near future.

      Very disappointing. In Global Specialties Senior Management is in position merely by default.

      A job is better than no job. Other than that once the market improves....LEAVE.

      Cons

      Nepotism...CEO has a tight knit community of friends who he continually shields from the BIG Boss. Major, major ineffectiveness across the entire company...Sour Grapes...maybe! but the proff is in the pudding too many weasels working at the top.
