Pros

Some flexibility and a few good people around the company

Cons

Projects not managed well Managers with very little or no engineering knowledge Nepotism They want to be seen as diverse but they are actually diverse only in favour of specific employees they support. Low pay and no bonuses

DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

There are no pros (at least in Orlando). This might be the worst company I have ever worked for…

Cons

Over worked and under staffed - there were people working in the Orlando office that were over 70 hrs. per week. We asked for help for 6 months before I had to quit for my sanity. No management - the Orlando office went through managers like wild fire. At the time of my departure the office had gone through 5 managers in 2022. Upper management could can less about the employees and only want the work done at any cost. Benefits are bad - $3000 max into 401k no matter what your pay or level is. Not enough time off (if you can even get it approved). Expensive health insurance.

Unhealthy targets

Pros

Decent office space I guess

Cons

I work in the sustainability department and we we have a target of 90% of hours billable to projects. It's a toxic environment. You're billing hours to projects to keep your head above water, but then you get an earful if you use too much of a projects budget. There's no winning. And it's a dumb metric. Its over trivializing the work we do, just so that the senior management can try to wrap their small heads around and point at numbers and have meetings about it and pretend they're adding value to the world. Working here reminds me of the Wells Fargo documentary dirty money.
