Good variety of high-pressure projects and a big team that provides learning opportunities but no career growth within the company

Cons

-Management doesn't want you to progress in your career, their goal is to keep the billable rate minimum and load you with more responsibilities. -You are treated like a box and you should not think beyond what you have been told - No sense of belonging, you are like a cog in a big machine

Pros

WSP's business model seems to be to take over successful companies and turn them around. If you have any entrepreneurial spirit, and gumption, any drive, run! This company has successfully combined the fabled bureaucracy of India, the UK and the US Gov't into a career-stifling, mind-dumbing, corporate kill-the-person-above-me type of existence. If that's your vision for your professional career, WSP should be your first choice!

Cons

I assume that the only cons are those in upper management. But I don't know that for sure.

Pay was decent, about the only thing that kept me around. Interesting engineering projects good to build out a mid career resume.

You're just a number in the big company and will be reminded of it constantly If they find any small perk it will be taken away Arrogance and ignorance of corporate leadership is a dangerous combo Guilty of legitimate illegal activities particularly health and safety cuts Benefits below industry standard
