      Pros

      Volvo allows you to run with a project on your own without micro-managing the activity.

      Cons

      Weekend hours are a necessity and there is a lot of interoffice politics.

      A great business but poorly led at Hagerstown plant

      Great product line and a great manufacturing experience. Beautiful plant Multi-cultural environment

      Cons

      You are either in or out with upper management. I found many cases to be inexplicable where mgt would either favor or dislike employees. Many excellent employees have left the Hagerstown plant for this reason. Many of the replacements they hire are of a lower caliber than the people they replaced. Pay is average.
