Pros
The job is good when it's good. There is plenty of good cross functional communication between groups. Most of the managers are good to work for. Vacation is incredible, honestly one of the only things keeping me here, and the cafeteria has good food.
Cons
There is widespread concern throughout the organization about job security. Employees are being laid off at such a rapid pace that it is difficult to keep track of who has been let go recently. As a result, morale has been significantly impacted. We continue to hear that additional reductions are planned, creating a constant sense of uncertainty and anxiety among employees. Many people are concerned that they could be next and are actively developing backup plans in case their positions are eliminated. The situation has become even more difficult given that several employees with 10–20 years of service have recently been laid off, while mandatory overtime requirements remain in place. This combination of workforce reductions and increased workload has further heightened stress and negatively affected morale across the team.
