1. Good work-life balance. (No strict deadlines or any deadlines) 2. Fair salary structure. At least in line with industry standards 3. Best company to join if you have no plans to switch further and need to work in peace 4. Job security

Cons

Now coming to the cons, 1. Data chapter is run by external consultants (Capgemini) and they are bossing the Volvo employees. 2. External consultants keep good work to themselves and distribute monotonous work to Volvo employees. 3. No free food when compared to the competitors like DTICI. 4. Apart from salary, there are no perks/benefits. 5. Very short to no onsite visits. 6. Haggle during the offer, at the later point, there is no great hike. Usually is less than 8%

A few decent hardworking, forward thinking people Pay well, but only because they offer very little of anything else

Cons

Leaders are uninspiring. Promote in many cases the wrong people. Talk about what they are going to do but never actually do anything. Work just for tomorrow, no strategy. Do not develop anyone. Plant management is full of previously demoted (by past leaders) people as no others could be found. “Leadership” is made up of mostly “easy button” and inexperienced members. Might look shiny on outside but lacks depth, vision and purpose. Place is stuck in 1985 and they love it that way.
