The previous management was good. But when organization changed the management took over is worst lot I ever have seen. If you are skillful, enthusiastic and adept careerist the you will be simply murdered here. In different project, the external contractor are the king here and they actually intentionally try to ruin the career of volvo people. As they don't have any work their only intention is to create problems for volvo and making them suffer. The most surprising fact is managent is also behave spinelessly as if they are ruled by these people and continuously go against their own people. This may be the only product company where contractors have upper hand and they create so much problem to the company. Many of volvo people faced the same issue but management is unmoved. This company talks so much about culture and all but actually is very low in culture.

IT system very convoluted, management is meant to reach corporate goals and may avoid what might help the plant, poor vision for future goals other than "produce more, spend less"
