      Pros

      The company produces some of the finest construction equipment in the world, and based on positive customer reviews and VCEs US Expansion there is certain to be significant opportunities in the near future.

      Cons

      I do not think that there are any unique downsides other than the occasional frustrations caused by the competing egos that often dominate decision making without the benefit of thorough analysis to back it up.

      Pros

      You can certainly advance within the Volvo Group e.g. Volvo Parts, Volvo IT, etc. Non Automotive Purchasing is only one organization within Volvo Group.

      Cons

      USA employees have to follow globabl directives. No advancement opportunities within the local organization. Very high focus on cost savings. No bonus.
