      Pros

      Good working environment, the management is confident in your skills, you can be part in lot of different projects. Good place to learn and proove yourself.

      Cons

      Lack of orientation from the management, departments work in silos, dependant on government contracts to create jobs so at that time there was frequent layoffs.

      Pros

      I loved building Mack trucks on the line, really felt like a family environment. Lots of time off and great benefits. Lots of freedom, felt like I made life long friends there

      Cons

      Layoffs Union/UAW is absolutely clueless, the minute they found out we were getting laid off they completely turned there backs on us. 2 Union reps tried denying us company earned benefits when it was stated in the handbook clear as day that we receive them. They try pinning you against the company but at the end of the day the company was the only one to actually give us clear answers. It really left a bad taste in many employees mouths on the total incompetence most Union reps. Unfortunately many production employees were just down right lazy. I've never met so many "grown men" that cried like little babies. It's very unfortunate that kind of attitude exists and is prevalent in the facility.
