Pros
The staff are all talented, dedicated and many have been with the company for a long time which speaks highly of a well run company. Decent pay, good benefits and upper management who knows your name where your not just a number but gets to know your family. Hard to find a company like that these days.
Cons
The cons go along with the good, sometimes they hold onto the wrong person for too long. Staff is stretched and overworked & with tight budgets managers are often underpaid as a result depending upon the property. Keeping a constant salary is challenging when you move from property to property due to varying budgets yet our own households don’t have that flexibility so that’s always tough. Upper Mgmt does their best to accommodate but it doesn’t always workout so driving costs such as car leases are affected dramatically and that can cost us dearly in the end. We love our jobs but so many influences beyond our control eat away at our enthusiasm and make it difficult to walk this path of selfless service.
